Biomedical Imaging Organization for South East Europe or BIO-SEE for short was formed in the Spring of 2022 with the help of a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) to address the need for a regional network of biomedical researchers interested in advanced imaging techniques. We were delighted when we were asked to share our knowledge of Quantitative Phase Imaging at the Orbeli Institute of Physiology.

Summary:

QPI is a novel label-free microscopy technique bringing a completely new contrast into the live-cell imaging field. It allows for extracting rich quantitative information data from unlabeled cells and monitoring them non-invasively.  The seminar will explain the principle of technology and show the broad range of applications focusing on label-free analysis such as cell growth, cell death, cell migration and many others. The webinar will be held in English.
