Telight expands its presence in Asia with the installation of the Q-Phase microscope at Xiangtan University in China and a new exclusive distribution partnership with PHYSIO MCKINA in Japan. These strategic milestones strengthen access to advanced live-cell imaging technologies and support cutting-edge biomedical research across the region.

The expert jury selected the Brno microscopy company Telight as one of the best 10 Innovators of 2024. The competition, which is regularly organized by a prestigious media Hospodářské noviny, emphasized Telight’s innovation and revolution in super-resolution microscopy, which can contribute to the widespread use of these technologies.

At the end of the year, we started cooperating with MZV and are actively engaged in a program called Scientific diplomacy, where we participate actively in events organized by various Czech embassies around the world. MZV has selected us as one of the companies that deserves the attention and support of diplomatic channels, thanks to the field and innovation that Telight brings to the field of light microscopy.

We have also expanded our operations in the DACH region, to cater our customers we have established a new branch in Germany, with direct sales representatives and our new Chief Commercial Officer Peter Zehetmayer, we are expanding our operations in the region.

In July 2022, our team in Paris was able to break the barrier of spatial resolution with our LiveCodim super-resolution imaging unit, achieving an impressive 90 nm. This advancement was made possible by the development of a new sectioning method within LiveCodim’s reconstruction algorithm. These improvements have significantly enhanced image resolution without the need for hardware upgrades or more intense illumination, holding enormous potential for the future of fluorescence imaging research in live cells.

TELIGHT announces the acquisition of TELIGHT Brno, the Light microscopy division of TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING.

TELIGHT announces the acquisition of BioAxial to continue the development of CODIM as a part of Telight.

BioAxial was granted a US patent covering «black fluorophore», a pivotal component of «Dark Tracking» technology.

BioAxial’s uCODIM has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement no. 811988 – LiveCODIM.

Designers Associés and BioAxial have won the 2018 French Design Award in Health Category.

Q-Phase recognized with the Werner von Siemens Excellence Award for the most important result of development and innovation of the year 2013.

Tescan has been developing Q-Phase since 2011 and later owned exclusive rights to the US, EU, EA & JP patents.

BioAxial was founded by Gabriel Y. Sirat to use conical diffraction to push the resolution of light scanning microscopy.

The idea of Q-Phase was developed by the group of professor Chmelík from the Brno University of Technology.
